Bird Alert!

  •

Birds of Hope has been helping Active:Water raise money for bio-sand filters and community wells in Zambia, Africa for seven months now.  We have raised $12,000 and made over 2,000 birds for clean water!  While Birds of Hope started with just the two of us , it has grown as others have joined us in reaching out to Zambia.

We are very thankful for Christ In Youth, who encouraged us to be Kingdom workers, to Active:Water who gave us an opportunity to make a difference in Zambia, to Pastor Brooklyn for believing and helping us to take the first step, to Amy Dennis & C.E. Design for creating a picture of hope, and Evolutionary Screen Printing and Embroidery for helping spread hope one t-shirt at a time.  Many thanks go to our church, Highland Park Church of the Nazarene, Picassoz Art Café, Black Swan Bazaar, and Fabric Warehouse for all their continued support with Birds of Hope.  Special thanks go to EVERYONE who has donated their beautiful materials and has given their time cutting fabric, sewing, stuffing, and stitching!

We thank God for this incredible journey!  Last July at the Know Sweat mission camp, God spoke to us and we listened for His direction.  We had faith that He would guide us, and He did!  God provided the opportunities, the people, the material and the support to spread hope.  Our God is an awesome God!

Worship the Lord your God, and His blessing will by on your food and water.

I will take away sickness from among you.

Spreading hope one bird at a time!

  • This is an amazing story! I’m very touched by your obedience to God and for doing so much for humanity.

  • I just heard about what you’re doing. I think it’s awesome! Keep up the good work! I linked you on my website and hope that you continue to bless those around the world. I love when students take their faith seriously and make Christ proud.

I’ll make sure to stop by your booth at the May 14th Craft Fair at FBC
